Ayurvedic Cleanse Program

New Year? Time to clean up!

I'm starting a 3 day cleanse. I got my inspiration from Banyan Botanicals suggestions and recipes, which I have altered slightly. This is, I think, a pretty traditional Ayurvedic Cleanse.


The jist is:
1. Wake up and drink lemon water
2. Practice yoga
3. Eat your oatmeal (see recipe)
4. Live you life until your hungry again
5. Eat Kitchari (see recipe)
6. Go to bed early

I've been warming up to this by trying to drink more water, do yoga in the morning, drink a detox tea, and not eat rich foods. Tomorrow will be DAY 1 for real. I'm excited to see how it all goes and how I feel throughout, and after.
